Short version of what trackingtemplates.com stores when you use recipes, parameters, ratings or the multi-platform builder.
If you submit the contact form, we store your name, email, subject, message, IP address, and user agent so we can reply and prevent abuse. The message is also emailed to our contact inbox (see /contact).
Ratings are stored in our database. Each browser session can submit one rating per recipe
(you can change it later in the same session). We also store IP and user agent for abuse control.
A short-lived session cookie (tt_rate_sid) identifies your session.
When you search the recipe library (/recipes?q=…), we store the search term,
optional platform filter, how many results matched, and a hit count for duplicate searches.
We do not store your name or email with those terms.
If you create a share link in the builder or on a recipe page, we store the template snapshot, a public hash URL, and basic request metadata (IP / user agent) for abuse control. Shared links are not indexed by search engines.
We use Google Analytics (gtag.js, measurement ID G-1DSHRX6LXS) to understand
aggregate traffic. Google may set cookies or use local storage for that purpose. See
Google’s privacy policy.
We also use Microsoft Clarity (project ID xvgk9xudjz) for session replays and
heatmaps so we can improve UX. Clarity may set cookies or use local storage. Contact-form
fields are masked in Clarity recordings. See
Microsoft’s privacy statement.
A session cookie (tt_rate_sid) is used for recipe ratings. An admin session
cookie is used only after signing in to /admin. We do not use advertising remarketing cookies.
